SMP Lactose Reduced
Skimmed milk powder is created by processing fresh skimmed cow’s milk. Lactose-free milk, on the other hand, is produced by introducing lactase enzymes to regular milk, which breaks down lactose into glucose and galactose. Once the milk has undergone pasteurization and standardization, it is thickened and subjected to spray-drying in order to obtain a powdered form.
